Christmas In July (part 1)

...Or really May because that's when I finished this project, but I have been very busy with a play. Do you remember my tree skirt that I was working on last Christmas? Well, I finally finished it...at least mostly. Jon is completely happy with the way it turned out, but I feel like it could use a few sequins and/or tiny jingle bells scattered over the empty space, similar to the original stockings whose style I was copying. Any opinions are welcome.

And just as a bonus, here is a picture of my dog huddled under my sewing table because I was spending too much time sewing for his taste.
